"The bicycle tour whose participants reflect America."

The We Are All One Bicycle Tour is a not-for-profit corporation that donates annually to organizations and causes that are making a positive difference by promoting families, diversity, and healthy lifestyles through bicycling.

The Advisory Board for the tour includes the founder (a civil rights worker and avid bicyclist for over thirty years,) the President of the Major Taylor (an African-American) Bike Club, the President of the Asian Bike Club, the Program Director of the Twin Cities Healthy Nations Program at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, the owner of Every Kid Mobility (a place for families who need adaptive bikes,) the chair of the Department of Chicano Studies at the University of Minnesota, a marketing analyst with special emphasis on families, and a small business entrepeneur.

 

In 2008, the "We Are All One" Bicycle Tour will be working under a Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement with Bolder Options, a nonprofit corporation exempt from federal tax under section 501(c) 3.  Bolder Options works with at-risk youth by offering a bike/run-mentoring program matching youth with adult mentors who participate in goal-centered one-on-one relationships

 

The WE ARE ALL ONE BICYCLE TOUR is:

·  A Multi-day ride that provides historic, scenic and cultural experiences.

·  A Ride for all ages and abilities.

·  A fun, family-friendly outdoor adventure where safety is our first priority.

COME EXPERIENCE SCENIC LAKE SUPERIOR'S NORTH SHORE!

The First Annual We Are All One Bicycle Tour is a two day event for 150-200 riders. The tour will bike along the scenic North Shore and include visits to Silver Bay, Beaver Bay, Two Harbors and Duluth. It will include two of Minnesota’s most popular state parks, Split Rock Light house State Park and Gooseberry Falls State Park.

Explore scenic Lake Superior’s North Shore including three state parks, nine waterfalls and two lighthouses. Visit History, Railroad, Tugboat, Brewery, Art, Floating Maritime Museums. Also visit a historic mansion built in 1905!

Experience family-fun activities like a scavenger hunt, rock-skipping, the Great Lakes Aquarium, a play front park, the port town trolley, a train ride and carnival thrills!
